Mix and match your bowl as you wish
Make yourself comfortable on the terrace or in the dining room and choose your formula: small bowl or large bowl to suit your appetite. Green salad, Tilques carrots, cauliflower, cubes of Batistin cheese and even edible flowers will make up your bowl, according to your tastes, but also according to the seasons.
A resolutely locavore approach
Local and regional products
Made up almost exclusively of local and regional produce, you'll have the chance to sample vegetables from nearby market gardeners. Some are even freshly picked in the nearby Potager Conservatoire.
You'll find ...
Here, nothing comes from far away. From market gardeners to patissiers, brewers and winemakers, these are the producers and artisans who make up our bowls and give each bite a taste of Hauts-de-France.
Les Bols du Marais' main suppliers include fruit, vegetables and local produce from La Ferme Bédague, Les Ateliers du Lobel, and home-made soups from Les Soupes de Claire.
You can also complete your bowl with, for example, Batistin cheese from la ferme du Milou or ewe's milk cheese from La ferme des Cailleuys , fresh fish from la pisciculture d'Anzin, or a drizzle of local oil L'or de colza. Chez Marco also offers tasty cuts of meat to round off your meal.
When it comes to drinks, the emphasis is on local produce too: beer from La Goudale brewed in Arques, beer from l'Abbaye de Clairmarais. You'll also find Kombucha from brasserie l'indispensable, kefirs from Kéfir & Co, juices from Natur'Pom, and the exclusive Potion du Marais, specially created by le Chaudron Helfic.
Finally, to finish on a sweet note, you can sample desserts made by various local patisseries: succulent crêpes prepared by the crêperie Ty Breizh, ice creams in a variety of flavours from the master ice cream maker from Audomar Les Givrés du Cornet, biscuits from la Biscuiterie Bourdon, creations from Dream Donuts and Monsieur Guimauve, and café Didier Boulet from Blendecques.
And to top it all off, fresh bread arrives daily from the bakeries of Delalleau and Delecroix.
And let's not forget the 130 ch'tis vignerons and Delobel & fils, who have some great local surprises in store for you.
